Easy Gardener is a multinational manufacturer of lawn & garden products. With many important vendor relationships and manufacturing processes to manage, technology is critical to their operations and bottom line.

Easy Gardener engaged DSTS in 2008 to deliver a fully outsourced information technology solution in support of their critical operations.

Working closely with their IT Director for the past six years, DSTS has delivered turnkey global IT operational support to Easy Gardener at a 12% reduction of their previous operational IT budget.

In 2009, DSTS led the transition at Easy Gardener from an end-of-life Nortel PBX telephony system to a Cisco Unified Communications system.

During the relationship, DSTS and Easy Gardener have worked together to upgrade their virtualization and core routing, switching, and wireless network infrastructure. The partnership continues today.

DSTS works closely with the Easy Gardener IT Manager providing global business technology solutions.
Easy Gardener’s previous service provider staffed a full-time position at the Easy Gardener headquarters. DSTS broached the idea of managing services from the DSTS offices allowing DSTS to manage the technology infrastructure systems more efficiently.
By managing Easy Gardener’s network remotely, DSTS saves the client money and automates maintenance making the process much more efficient.
After refreshing much of the Easy Gardener infrastructure and replacing the old PBX telephone system, DSTS was able to lower Easy Gardener’s monthly contract by 12%.
